The exercise being undertaken, as I understand by Wessex Archaeology, to clarify the readings taken earlier by ground radar. We were lucky enough to receive a letter of notification concerning this so were warned in advance, apparently that wasn't the case for many residents bordering the airfield. One of the operatives said it was interesting and they had found some stuff but of course was professional in his lack of disclosure! Let's hope though!
