For over 8 weeks now, the poor community of Odiolowo, Okeola, Ososa, and Ogutuga area of Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria has been thrown into total darkness due to a faulty transformer that supplies electric power to the area.

Eight weeks is more than enough time for a responsible organization to have fixed or replaced such faulty equipment.

It is exploitative, insane, totally unacceptable and repugnant to natural justice to ask poor people who are struggling to eke out a living to buy a transformer for a private business concern like IBEDC.
