End False Accusations and Racial Profiling

End False Accusations and Racial Profiling
The Issue
It is my prayer that our government will begin substantially fining and incarcerating (implementing financial ramifications) ALL individuals that are making false accusations against African-Americans that result in police attacks, killing, harassing, and profiling of African-Americans. I also pray that police are gravely fined or incarcerated each time they report to a scene in which an individual has made an accusation that is not founded and police officers use tactics that are not regulatory with ALL apprehensions.
On 08/07/20, My sixteen year old son, Kaleb Washington, was venturing home from Hawaiian Falls, which is approximately 500 ft from our home. As, my son, Kaleb and his friend were returning home, a young white male (with three other golfers) in his late twenties interacted. Kaleb, being an open-minded individual in spite of adversity, struck up a conversation with them about music. My son thinking nothing of it began interacting with this white male. During this interaction the white male became apprehensive. Unbeknownst to my son, a call had been made to the Mansfield Police Department stating my son had a gun and was behaving in a threatening manner, none of which was true.
Within a very short period of time, my son and his friend were ambushed by six police officers. My son was in shock and angry. Because of the boy's anxiety they threw their bookbags so that the police wouldn't say they were reaching for anything. A police officer patted him down and checked his bookbag-they found nothing. While one officer was hand-cuffing him, another police officer kneeled down on Kaleb with his knees (Kaleb was not resisting). All of this happened in less than 10 minutes. Imagine the trauma and effect this has had on my son?!
I want justice!
My son learned later, after the officer's resumed their senses, that one of the golfers supposedly falsely accused the boys of having a gun, which is what was shared with me by an officer and my son, yet another officer stated to the other parent that it had something to do with sexual statements made. I want the officers that reported to this call held responsible. I really want individuals, like the golfers, that made these accusations held accountable. I need your help to do it! We can not allow such behaviors to continue as it relates to African-Americans, especially African-American children! UNTRAINED OFFICERS ARE TEACHING AFRICAN-AMERICAN CHILDREN THAT THEY ARE NON-EXISTENT and EXPENDABLE. The time is now for justice and recourse! Please join me in making it a crime for anyone to make false reports that lead to the apprehension of Black Americans.
