Many kids in Louisiana  are NOT prepared  ENOUGH to take leap testing in may. Testing adds another stressor to an already difficult year and presents insurmountable logistical challenges.. Also, sending ALL kids at once to school to take leap will be so unsafe. Some children CAN developed a rare but serious disease that is linked to COVID-19 called multisystem inflammatory syndrome. In Louisiana we have a total of 378,011 cases and 10,030 deaths, and we ALL know we don’t want them Cases  getting any higher. Is a test really more important then your kids health?
