CAA is not good enough anymore!
Oct 12, 2015 — JMU is now 6-0 in the football season. JMU Sports has a greater than 70% winning percentage in all combined sports so far this season. We are dominating in nearly every sport and at the top of the standings.
Not just for football but more than ever for all sports we need to get into a more competitive Division 1 (FBS) athletic conference. The CAA is not what it was 10 years ago. We have outgrown it and deserve to be in a competitive conference. Please pass this petition along regularly on facebook, twitter, and other avenues. The goal here on change.org is 100 signatures. We need to crush that to show President Alger and the Board of Visitors that we are serious. If we don't move we are going to be dragged down to the level of our current conference mates. We will inevitably lose our top coaches if better conferences poach from us and we'll lose out on recruits that we could get in a better conference.
