Joe Biden has officially won the 2020 U.S. Presidential election, but
this does not mean that we can stop pushing for real change in our
government. Biden and Harris' campaign has made it clear that they
support progressive ideals, which is made quite obvious with a page on
Joe Biden's campaign website that is titled "Progressives for Biden",
which you can click the link to right here:
https://joebiden.com/progressive/ . Different demands that
progressive youths have for Biden and Harris are policy initiatives
like Medicare for All, taxing the wealthy (specifically people that
earn $400,000 or more a year), cancelling student debt, and the Green
New Deal. I have contacted the campaign with these demands to ensure
that progressive ideals will be introduced back into the White House
and our federal government. The list of progressive ideas that Biden
supports on his website need to be followed through with, and the list
is:

Build a new American economy for our families and unions.
Secure environmental justice and a clean energy future.
Strengthen America’s commitment to racial justice.
Address the public health crisis and expand access to health care.
Ensure we get closer to full equality for women.
Advance LGBTQ+ equality.
Expand access to education and training and provide relief from student debt.
