Petition to Bring Jody Bellefeuille Back to Proctor Speedway This Sunday

Whereas, on a certain unfortunate Sunday two weeks ago, Jody Bellefeuille was allegedly, possibly, probably, and according to most people in the grandstands, robbed of a Feature Win by a call that is still being debated harder than a Vikings quarterback controversy;

And whereas Jody responded in a perfectly reasonable and mature fashion by declaring he was done with Proctor Speedway forever and would instead spend Sundays racing elsewhere or floating around on a pontoon pretending race cars don’t exist;

We, the undersigned fans, drivers, pit crews, family members, spectators, and random people who enjoy a good Feature race, hereby petition Jody to return to Proctor Speedway this Sunday.

Let’s be honest. A pontoon can only go about 20 mph. Jody’s race car goes much faster, makes a lot more noise, and is far more entertaining. The fish don’t care if he won a Feature, but the fans do. Besides, if he stays home, who are we supposed to complain to, cheer for, or argue about in the pits?

Therefore, we respectfully request that Jody put the bad call behind him, fire up the race car, return to Proctor Speedway, and give everyone another chance to watch him chase that Feature Win. In return, we promise at least three people will yell “You got robbed!” before hot laps even start.
