Joann, a beloved craft and fabric retailer, has filed for bankruptcy and is closing stores nationwide.

However, instead of allowing loyal customers to use their gift cards during going-out-of-business sales, the company has canceled them altogether.

This means that thousands of customers who spent money on Joann gift cards are now left with nothing, unable to use them for fabric, craft supplies, or other goods before stores shut down.

Other retailers in similar situations have let customers redeem their gift cards during liquidation sales. Joann should do the same.
