JMMS’ dress code rules are already extremely strict. Although most students don’t have a problem with wearing school colors (Navy, White, Maroon); the rules that are in place regarding tank tops are perpetually overdone, and in all honesty, dress coding a student for wearing a (SCHOOL COLORED) tank top when it is ridiculously hot outside is more distracting to other students than the tank top itself. At the very least, we believe that students should be allowed to wear school colored tank tops during recess and after-school practices.
