Love Alarm has been an emotional ride, to say the least. If you were rooting for Jojo to end up with Sun-Oh in Love Alarm season 2, I have bad news. Love Alarm’s finale bows out with a pretty tepid conclusion, finishing up all our big plot points but doing so in an obvious and ham-fisted way. Hye-Yeong and Jojo being together has been made clear since the first 10 minutes of the opening episode and it’s disappointing to see the show take such a cookie-cutter approach to their romance. As it stands, it’s pretty clear that Sun-o doesn’t really love Yuk-Jo and would drop her at the first sign of interest from Jojo. What was the point of getting the viewers all riled up over Sun oh and Jojo when they don't even end up together? That ending was pure torture super disappointed. Although I think it's not about the favorite lead or the actors, it's the writers of both the webtoon and the script. I feel like they wanted to add a lot of plot twist in order for the drama to be dramatic but it flat out ruined Love Alarm. I love season 1, I love the actors' acting, I appreciate how they build the character, but I'm disappointed with the season 2 script. There was no real chemistry between Hye young and Jojo. Her feeling towards Hye young feels more like pity than of love. I think there needs to be a season 3 because the ending didn't feel right and the fact that people are talking about how she did "the mature thing" by going to Hye young when it was obvious she still had feelings for Sun Oh is ridiculous. the mature thing to do would be, to tell the truth about why she did what she did.
