Right now cosplayers are currently not allowed to where their cosplays to school. That is causing some cosplayers to feel like they can't be themselves in a safe place. (Like school, or home) It also is making many young cosplayers feel out of place when they talk about them being a cosplayer. This is due to the fact that other children are not exposed to cosplaying in a good way. They are told what they are told by their parents and believe that.

When you tell people that you cosplay most people think of a sexy cosplay. But that's not what cosplaying is. Yes there are some more showy characters, but not all cosplayers dress as that. This is a common misconception that many people have. People can have their own opinion on cosplaying and i'm not against that. But people can't stop cosplayers form doing what they love. And people shouldn't be rude about it.

Cosplaying in school could help raise self confidence and make our school day a little more fun. I agree that if we are going to cosplay in school it should be something school appropriate.  Plus I think all cosplayers that are still in school would love to be able to show off their cosplay somewhere else other than a convention. Please sign this petition if you agree with me. Thank you!
