Stop 'self touching' being taught in sex education in primary schools

The Issue

The department for education are introducing new sex education classes into primary schools to children as young as 5. As part of this new programme called 'All about me' they will be teaching our children about 'self touching' and 'self pleasure' which is sexualising children and normalising pedophilia. Sex education doesn't need to be taught until year 6 at the youngest. Children have a human right to freedom and are already forced into the education system and controlled heavily and now they are having their innocence taken away by strangers who want to teach them all about sexuality. I have a son and daughter and the first sex education lesson she had in year 3 has already had a negative affect. My children have to share a bedroom and there is currently no law on a brother and sister sharing a room. I am very concerned about the effects this will have on our children and their behaviour. We need to speak up as parents. It is our responsibility to raise our children not the schools. Please say no to sex education on self touching in primary schools. Children have a right to freedom and they are trying to take that away.  Sexualising children will only encourage sexual behaviour with children and possibly adults. We need to protect them, not sexualise them and their bodies. Let them keep their innocence while they are young. We are asking the department for education to remove this from their sex education programme and to not teach sex education until at least year 6.
