This petition is in honor of the beautiful pup Mac. On Monday, July 5 2021, Mac's owner Diego posted a photo on Instagram of Mac, his one and a half year old mini Goldendoodle, stating his little boy disappeared. He also posted a photo of the woman who was dog-sitting for him (Alyssa Tognetti). Diego shared that him and his girlfriend dropped off Mac on Friday (July 9,2021) at Jersey City High Rise where the dog sitter Alyssa supposedly lived. When Monday morning came, Diego was supposed to pick up Mac. At the time he was scheduled to pick up Mac, Alyssa disappeared. She did not pick up their calls. Alyssa had appeared to run a business in Cliffside Park called Posh Pet Service. Many people on social media responded and told their stories accusing Alyssa of negligence and animal cruelty. Mac wasn't Alyssa's first victim. A website supposedly said was used to find Alyssa was Rover.com, but the spokesman, David Rosenbaum for the website said Mac's sitter Alyssa was not booked on their website. He also said that she had already been delisted from the platform after unspecified allegations against her. Rosenbaum made a statement saying “First and foremost, our hearts go out to Mac’s family, and those who loved him. This service was not booked on our platform. We had previously deactivated the sitter from our community, cancelled her future stays, and prevented her from accepting any new bookings through the platform.” Diego then received an email from Alyssa claiming she lost Mac and that he had "jumped out of her car while driving in Jersey City, bordering Bayonne. " At 6:30 pm that evening, Diego received a call saying that Mac was brought to a Vet office. After rushing to the Vet, Diego was informed his beautiful baby boy had unfortunately passed away. According to sources, Alyssa was arrested a week prior in Brooklyn, NY for locking 8 dogs in an extremely hot car. Alyssa also was reported to change names, her number, address quite often. The main photo here is what Diego had posted. Not sure when that photo was taken but she also supposedly had plastic work done to her face. That updated photo below is from 2019 from an IG user named "vanessabeauty94." Her real identity remains a mystery. This woman needs to be in prison. Please spread this so no other family will fall for her lies! We demand justice for Mac, his family and all the other animals who were affected by this abusive monster.
