I am writing to support the defense of Victoria Darlington in connection with the recent charges placed against her by the Santa Monica Police Department. I believe strongly that her long history of mental illness should be taken into account in her defense. I support her family’s strong desire for her to receive long term (not permanent) mental health care in lieu of jail time. I believe that jail is an unjustified and inappropriate approach to Victoria’s situation.

Please take my support and the support of both Victoria Darlington’s and Gerry Darlington’s family to keep Victoria out of jail and instead, continuing her mental health care.
