Representation matters! It's 2020 and we're still 'burying our gays'! We have been queerbaited for over a decade and to not let the infamy of that follow Supernatural into eternity, we demand a better finale. Whether it is a short season 16, a better finale episode or a movie, is upto consideration of the actors/director. On behalf of the fandom, we nominate Bobo Berens for director, and Misha Collins and Jensen Ackles for reprising Cas and Dean respectively (non-negotiable).

The season and series finale of Supernatural left a lot to be desired in regards to representation but we also have a storyline which ignores all emotional and story arcs at the end, in an episode which was unfinished at best and blatantly homophobic at worst. The show ended on a note which rendered all character development for the THREE main leads: Dean, Sam and Castiel moot. 

We deserve better! As fans of this show we made it what it is today and it is a huge disservice to us, as fans, when the show which claims to have "great love for meta" ignored everything the audience wanted in favour of a "conservative and ambiguous" ending.

We demand better! We're done sitting by idly while the powers that be dictate creative decisions based on monetary profit and ignore all logic and common sense when it comes to a storyline.
