In september 2013 our beautiful daughter Gemma Was brutally murdered by her partner Daniel William Johnson. Johnson had murderer before in 1997 when he and an accomplice stabbed an innocent man to death in the street in front of his terrified girlfriend, leaving her to raise their small child alone. The nature of Johnsons previous incarceration was kept from Gemma and her family on his early release with probation officers backing Johnsons lies that he was in a schoolboy fight gone wrong as much as wrong place wrong time as opposed to the repeated stabbing and crowbar attack to a dying man which actually took place (probation deny this but can provide no evidence or documentation to the contrary ) Johnson repeatedly stabbed Gemma in the home they shared together in 2013 destroying all our lives and was sentenced to life with a 20 year minimum before he can appeal for parole a DHR report shows the multiple failings of agencies involved in Johnsons life licence following his initial murder (conditions of his realease ) was produced in oct 2015 the family wish to persue these agencies in order they accept their responsibility so no other families should face such tragic loss when it could and should be preventable Gemma was a beautiful happy girl who would help anyone where ever she could please sign and share our petition to help get justice for Gemma Thank You
