Hello, I am a student at mercy high school in Omaha Nebraska. It has come to my attention that my fellow students are in fact allowed to bring dates to the dance, well as long as they are boys. Boys from other schools are allowed to our annual upperclassmen nocturne dance, but girls from other schools cannot. Also “female students are not allowed to wear suits.” Help fight this injustice so we can bring who we love to the dance, and feel comfortable in our skin, judgement free. I myself am a member of the lgbt community, and it hurts my heart to see the upperclassmen not be allowed to bring their s/o to the dance.
