I live 500+ km away from college( Jaypee Institute of Information Technology), and many of my batch-mates too and just for exams, we are being forced to come to college even when the teachers themselves are admitting that the syllabus cannot be completed by 18th December and they will be requiring extra classes for the completion of the syllabus since the exams are scheduled from 20th December.

We're being forced to travel even when the classes will be going on, accommodate hostel during that time and also arrange the basic essentials during winters. Plus carry a lot of stuff for the cold season.

Secondly mostly trains are pre-booked around that time(because of the holiday season)… how do we get reservations in such short notice.

All the viva's, lab test's, project
submissions are being preponed suddenly around the same time.
We are been given no time to prepare for our evaluations as well as our hostel stay.

All this is giving us a lot of mental pain and pressure. Plus because of COVID 19 and winter season we all are scared to fall ill during our travel. Incase we fall ill, we will have no one to look after us as we will be away from our home and also give our final exam during illness.

Coming to hostel just for 5 days is also giving our families sudden economic burden…
Where we have to cover all the expenses of our stay, food and travel.

We request all the college authorities to pls consider our complaints and take a decision which is feasible for students.
