Some kids these days are allowed to wear things like cat ears, face paint, and/or a tail to school. The school allows this to be a daily outfit while everyone else can't even wear a hat to school. We should be allowed to express ourselves as freely as these kids in which we call "furries". If the school allows these furries to wear animal costumes to school and doesn't let everyone else wear hats, that's discrimination. I feel that all students should be treated fairly, and either allowed to wear anything they want, or the schools enforce their dress codes better. These furries dress like animals, act like animals, and legitimately think they're animals. They hiss at other kids and hit them with their tails in the halls and are a huge distraction to other students in the learning environment.  I believe it is ok to express your self freely, however, acting like an animal is taking it way too far. They can express themselves through other methods such as dressing like animals at home and not at school. the school allows animal costumes but doesn't let us wear hats. The furries are compromising our learning abilities as they are a huge distraction. The school's dress code should allow us to wear anything we want or enforce the dress code better.
