Despite its name, The Little Gym is not just a "gym" and should not be categorized as such. The Little Gym is an early learning/movement center for young children, where through a structured, school-like curriculum, critical social & mental development takes place. This is why our community and through the safety protocols already in place would like to see THE LITTLE GYM OPEN IMMEDIATELY. 

(and if you haven't attended a class since its re-opening this fall, you would see that the safety protocols, cleanliness and class sizes are the safest around -- Safer than other childcare facilities and the grocery store for that matter)

Under Governor Inslee's current Proclamation, the Tacoma Pierce County Health Department has notified The Little Gym that they must close and that they are categorized as an "other sporting facility".

We are asking the community to sign this petition in recognition that The Little Gym is NOT a sporting facility and is an early learning/movement center, and should be opened immediately.
