Hi. I am a gamer and a huge fan of the game stickempires.com. 
This game for me and many gamers has been one of our best gaming pastimes. This game by of stick figure empires by Jason Whitham (CRAZYJAY), Brock White, and Winston Zhang attracted a lot of attention of gamers. It gradually built an awesome community. After 5+ years, the wonderful developers, to thank Stick Empires, Stick War and Stick Page community gave away free memberships to everyone. But then developers due to reasons abandoned updating the game. The last performance patch received was on 2016-03-02. The game slowly declined due to no updates/fixes by devs on bugs and other issues.

The community approached the devs many times, trying to convince them to not give up on the game but they replied: "Building updates for Stick Empires would take up a lot of time and would not generate much revenue as flash is no longer fully supported on the web"
Yes, we understand your problems, we understand that you've obvious reasons that are keeping you from working on the game and we support you. But we still don't want our favourite game to die.
So we all request you to free the game by making it open-source so that us, the community who loves this game so much can improve it with the power of the open-source.
Us lovers of this game who would like to see it continue to survive and indeed thrive, sign this petition to show our support for the same.
