Jamil Jivani is a Conservative MP for the Ontario riding of Bowmanville—Oshawa North. He decided to travel to the United States to "negotiate" a trade deal with the Trump administration, despite not being in a position to do so.

While his efforts to reason with the Trump administration are commendable, he decided to backstab fellow Canadians by badmouthing them and dismissing their genuine concerns about Trump's threats to economically devastate and annex Canada.

During an interview, Trump claimed he wanted to annex and acquire Canada by "economic force." He also repeatedly referred to Canada as the 51st state and both prime minister Trudeau and prime minister Carney as "governors."

Jivani decided to omit the disrespectful statements Trump made about Canada during an interview with Breitbart News, a right-wing news outlet formerly run by Epstein associate Steve Bannon.

Jivani was quoted as saying:

“We are shooting ourselves in the foot if we continue this anti-America… hissy fit, and this is the kind of reason I’m trying to talk into our government and some of the liberals who have just gone way off the reservation on this.”

Not only did Jivani fail to secure any sort of deal with the Trump administration, he used an interview with Breitbart to gaslight and deflect away from genuine criticism of the Trump administration.

He also used an anti-Indigenous slur by saying "way off the reservation" as was noted by conservative influencer Brattani.

Trump is 100% responsible for the current anti-American sentiment in Canada. Jivani has shown that he aligns himself more with Trump than he does with Canada, and that is traitorous.

This petition calls on Pierre Poilievre to immediately EXPEL Jivani from the Conservative caucus.
