Hi, I would like to thank everyone who joined me in this fight against Etihad Airways. Etihad Airways has finally responded to our campaign,but still they could not find my hand luggage.I got an email today morning requesting more details of what was the brand and type of luggage bag. The contents of the email are as follows: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Etihad Airways: Ref 300666 22 February 2015 Dear Mr Doddi, Thank you for your correspondence, which has been referred to me for investigation. Reading your letter, the sequence of events, from start to finish, was not handled to a standard we, or more importantly, you, would expect. You were not handed a baggage tag reference for your hand baggage which was intercepted at the boarding gate and I am currently in the process of investigating the same with our team in Manchester. You have provided the list of contents which I thank you for. To advance the tracing, may I request a detailed description of your black hand baggage please? Type and brand of bag if possible. Did you report the loss on arrival in Hyderabad? I look forward to your response by return. Thank you Mr Doddi. The hand luggage is Black in color with some blue color along the zip area in the sides.I do not remember the name of the brand,or else I would have sent the name in my first communication with you.It is a cabin luggage bag. The security check tag with stamp was attached to it when I passed through security check to reach the gate 31. My invaluable contents of bag and the bag itself were thrown in the bin bag which was bought by one of the airport staff.I witnessed that myself in a helpless situation.That was the worst day in my life thanks to Etihad Airways. The Etihad Airways staff who were there clearly told me that all the contents of the bag along with my bag were going to be destroyed for health and safety reasons.I then though to myself that after passing through the security check,still they think that my hand luggage was unsafe?!!!
