The Amazon is getting torn down, tree by tree, plant by plant. It's our main source of oxygen and if it's gone, global warming will be worse than ever. Plus, it's home to many different animals most of us probably don't even know about, and home to about 80,000 different plants from which more than 40,000 species play a critical role in regulating the global climate and sustaining the local water cycle. If the Amazon disappears, 10,000,000 species will be forced to extinction. We humans are doing more harm to the earth than good. This needs to stop.
