Kids in our school system are being affected by unnecessary quarantining.  Kids are falling behind academically as they struggle to get to an internet connection, struggle to work through zoom meetings, and are far less engaged in their school work and learning opportunities. Several parents have expressed their kids grades have fallen off dramatically when quarantined, some even quarantined multiple times.  Others aren't able to attend their classes at Washburn Tech.

Nemaha Central's school made recent changes to the quarantine guidelines stating.  It's my understanding our local health dept. is supporting this change. I am asking that you schedule an emergency meeting to get these changes made as soon as possible for the benefit of our students.
