Petitioning Jack and Jill Hill Preservation Society

Jack and Jill Hill Preservation Society: Opposed site of Solar Panels.

The society has been formed to oppose a proposal from INRG Solar Ltd and Andrew Jolliffe, to build a Solar Power Station on prime agricultural land between Haydon, Kilmersdon and Charlton. Planning consultancy Pegasus Group is driving the planning application for INRG and Andrew Jolliffe. These stakeholders will make a significant sum of money from Government subsidies for solar generation, paid for via our taxes. We need your help to stop this industrial development with the threat of future expansion.

This is about landscape protection. We do not object to solar energy. We just believe solar panels should be sited in the right place, on the tops of roofs or on brownfield sites, rather than on productive farmland.

This petition will be delivered by the Jack and Jill Hill Preservation Society to District Councilors, Members of Parliament, Parish Councilors and other parties that can help in our fight to have this entirely inappropriately located industrial development stopped.

To find out more about this industrial development, and what you can do to stop it, please visit our website at www.jackandjillhillpreservationsociety.org

Thank you
