Caleb Charleston is currently serving a 60yrs sentence at 100% for a crime he did not commit or have any involvement in! In 2009 at a youthful age Caleb Charleston was unconstitutionally arrested for a murder he had nothing to do with and convicted stems from Chicago police department misconduct on the behalf of the cook county state’s attorney office and the fact his lawyer was ineffective while representing him at trial the police detective in the investigation of this case coerced 3 witnesses into making false statements on Caleb but then prior to his trial all 3 witness recanted there statements and confessed on camera that they were coerced by CPD into implementing Caleb in the involvement of the 2009 murder after the states attorney assigned to this case threatening and intimidated the witnesses with jail time and charged with other crimes if they didn’t stick to there original stories/false statements when called to testify now 11yrs later with hopes and multiple appeals CalebC is still incarcerated and wrongfully convicted and proclaiming his innocence and trying to get justice for himself in flawed and unjust on the justice system just like most black men incarcerated Caleb Charleston resources are limited and this henders his ability to prove his innocence and that he his wrongfully convicted of a crime he has been imprisoned for multiple people has come forth over the last few years with evidence and statements in form of a actual innocence.
