For the last year students have been left with the flawed system of online school, they have become test subjects to a new form of learning that has no proof of effectiveness. They have been lacking in communication with their teachers as well as the educational aid in school learning provides. Students are not able to consistently receive the help and instruction from teachers as they would in years prior. Teachers have not made this much easier piling on unnecessary work under the false assumption that since we are stuck at home we will have more time to do work. This is false, students still have responsibilities outside of the class and the demand of online school is having negative effects on students. Online school has caused unnecessary  anxiety and stress for students. We ask the Governor of Illinois to please pass all students as so many have fallen behind due to the flawed online learning system. Students should not have to deal with the inconsistencies and problems that revolve around zoom and online work. Group assignments have become nearly impossible yet teachers still assign them. The lack of communication and one and one between teacher and student has failed so many students this semester, please sign this petition and help make it known that students are struggling because of these flawed online classes.
