Starting July 1st, Illinois will see a raise from $0.19 a gallon, to $0.38. This is a petition for a less of a raise for gas tax, as more people feel like they pay enough sales tax on goods, and other necessities. We, the People of the state Of Illinois, do not need more tax on Gas. This will really hurt Illinois gas stations as people will drive to the boarders to fill up.
