We would like to request that all academic models in IUSD remain available. 

Based on the numbers reported in the IUSD Dashboard, schools are not where COVID is spreading. Each school in our district has less than 1% of their school population that has tested positive for Covid. The District went through months of planning and setting up protocols and safety measures to keep everyone safe. Included in the planning, is what steps to take IF numbers go up AT schools. There is a plan that will be executed if that situation arises. Based on the numbers, we have no factual evidence to shut down the schools. 

As parents, we value not only the physical health of our students, but we must consider the mental health as well. Each parent has had an opportunity to make their own decision on which of the three academic models works for their family. We do not believe others should be making those decisions for us. Therefore, it is imperative that Traditional, Hybrid and IVA all remain open.
