Cannon and Ball are officially the worlds longest running comedy duo, their ITV show was watched by millions back in the day and they played to sold out theatres up and down the country.
With the sad passing of Bobby Ball back in October 2020 I think it would be nice for ITV to celebrate the duo by having a Cannon and Ball night.
Maybe show a couple of The Cannon and Ball Shows, a new documentary celebrating the duo, a showing of their 1982 movie 'The Boys In Blue' and maybe a showing of their 2005 DVD 'Legends of Comedy' (filmed at The Grand Theatre, Blackpool).
I think Christmas would be the perfect time for something like this, maybe show one of their Christmas specials too?
Even if this was done and shown on either ITV 3 or ITV 4 it would be a really nice tribute to one of the UK's most beloved comedy duos.
