A democracy can only function when the electorate is informed of what is occurring, what candidates will do to fix problems, and how.

By restricting it's election debate to the two first parties ITV is shutting down an entire side of the political debate. It is important, now more than ever when third parties are reaching near parity in polls with the two first parties, to ensure that all voices are heard. Restricting the debate to just a binary choice also creates a dangerous precident that no parties outside of Labour or the Conservatives matter or even worse, portraying the media itself as biased.

You cannot make an informed decision if you don't have access to all information.
