According to the New York Times, Thinkfactory Media will be giving the Baskin’s a chance to take their personal attacks on private exotic animal owners to a whole new level.  Carole Baskin touts herself to be an animal rights advocate but is well known for her hypocrisy while practicing gruesome and abhorrently cruel acts to pet rabbits and rats - deliberate infliction of pain, suffering and death.

Despite domestic pets are not a natural food source in the wild, do not have wild survival instincts and cannot escape a predator; the tame rabbits/rats are stalked, played with, tortured and ripped apart alive after trying to befriend bobcats at Big Cat Rescue’s unethical rehabilitation program; witnessed in Big Cat Rescues videos and live cams.

Statements from Biologist, Veterinary, Big Cat Experts and Wildlife Rehab Experts confirm the unethical, illogical practice constitutes animal abuse; there are viable alternatives that do not involve the torture of sentient, intelligent creatures. 

Barbaric live feeding is not limited to domestic pets, chickens were also thrown alive into big cat enclosures.  Turkeys are also fed alive to rehab bobcats.

One aspect of Tiger King revealed a gruesome photo of BCR volunteers holding bloody dead rabbits while proudly posing and smiling. The Dutch rabbit (right) appears alive and the bodies of the rabbits are covered in blood. Carole Baskin states the rabbits were purchased frozen however; we emailed a provider of frozen rabbits to find out the true facts.  

The disrespect and unethical practices do not stop there; Big Cat Rescue purchases frozen dead pet rabbits and rats to be fed as “Treats” to the big cats and cuts up body parts using them as bait to move big cats.  This practice not only supports the cruel, inhumane world of back yard breeding it is also an unnecessary choice of feeding big cats according to big cat experts.

911animalabuse.com is a website started by Carole Baskin and Susan Bass; the unknowing public might be fooled into thinking the website is about real animal abuse however; it appears the sole purpose of the website is to publicly smear the name and reputation of Big Cat Rescue’s competitors and critics.  Some of the targets on pages created on the website have never been convicted of animal abuse related crimes, do not own exotic animals or own any animal.
