SUBJECT: Representation of the prayer regarding the issue/problem/effect of OVERLAPPING and an urgent need for WAITING LIST in Grade III post of Assam Direct Recruitment examination (ADRE).

Respected Sir,

First and foremost, we, the applicants of ADRE are very humbly place our heartfelt gratitude, congratulations and thanking you for conducting this mega recruitment drive in a very transparent manner. Now with due respect and in pursuance to the subject cited above, we would like to shed lights on overlapping issue. As many candidates applied in more than one post and there is a very high chance that those candidates will clear the minimum cut-off and will be eligible for multiple posts. Now if overlapping is practiced during the formulation of final merit list, then many unemployed eligible candidates will be deprived of getting the job.

We would also like to mention that if overlapping process is carry forwarded in the formulation of final merit list then there should be a waiting list formed so that unemployed eligible candidates can get the job.

Therefore, in view of the foregoing expression, we request you to consider this aforementioned matter seriously and take necessary actions on behalf of this issue so that we can get the opportunity to serve our great state Assam by working in the government sector.

We hope our honorable CM and concerned commission will look up this matter sincerely in a positive manner.
