در این روزهای پر تپش انقلاب که کوچه‌ها بوی خون گرفته‌اند و تن زنان و مردان دلیر ایران‌زمین که با شعار "زن، زندگی، آزادی" به خیابان آمده‌اند از ضرب باتوم دژخیمان کبود است و حق حیات انسانها و منافع ملّی توسط رژیمی فاسد و بی‌قانون به بازی گرفته شده است، وظیفه‌ی هریک از ماست که در کنار دیگر مردمان سرزمینش بیاستد.

ما به عنوان اعضایی از جامعه هنری ایران که همواره با تهدید، تحقیر، سانسور و زندان و استفاده‌ی ابزاری از هنر روبرو بوده‌ایم، خشم و انزجارمان را از این رژیم ناشایست که جهل، خفقان، اختلاس، فساد و قتل‌های مکرر حکومتی را به بار آورده فریاد می‌زنیم. 

‏خواست یگانه‌ی ما گذر از جمهوری اسلامی به تمامی و درانداختن طرح نوی حکومتی است که بر کرامت انسانی، پاسداشت تمامیت ارضی، برابری حقوق همه‌ی ایرانیان از هر قوم و با هر باوری، رعایت موازین دموکراتیک، قوانینی مدرن و در چهارچوبی سکولار شکل گرفته باشد.

During these heart-wrenching days of the unfolding revolution in IRAN, the streets are lined with​ ​brave men and women who march and peacefully protest under the motto “woman, life,​ ​freedom”. The smell of blood is in the air and their bodies are bruised by the batons of thugs,​ ​while the right to life and national interests are​ ​continuously violated by a corrupt and lawless​ ​regime. The time has arrived and it is our duty to stand in solidarity with the people of our​ ​homeland.

As members of the art community of Iran, we have always been threatened, humiliated, censored, imprisoned,​ and had our artwork exploited and used as a tool for the government's agenda. We are angry and disgusted by this unconscionable regime and its actions. Through their ignorance, oppression, embezzlement, corruption, and systematic murders of our descendants, they have subjected us to inhuman treatment.

We hereby request the complete replacement of the Islamic Republic Regime with a new government that champions: universal human rights, safeguarding the territorial sovereignty of Iran, ensuring equality for all of its people regardless of ethnicity or beliefs, a secular legal framework with democratic standards, and the implementation of modern laws.
