Investigate Thomas Randolph's conviction and ensure a fair retrial
The Issue
HELP THOMAS!!! This is personal to me because I believe that Thomas Randolph’s trial in 2008 was a flagrant violation of his constitutional rights. As Americans, we pride ourselves on our justice system that holds "innocent until proven guilty" as a founding principle. Judge Miley’s decision to unseal a previous case from Utah, where Thomas was found not guilty, was not only unethical but unjust. Allowing this evidence and testimony in Randolph's later trial tainted the case from the outset. This disrupted his right to a fair trial, a right guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution.
and , then the state says they didn’t have access to a sealed case BUT IT PROVES IT ON DATELINE INTERVIEWS WITH DETECTIVES , lawyers etc .
The inappropriate actions in the courtroom didn't stop there. The media coverage fueled public opinion, headlines influencing jurors, making it impossible for him to have an impartial jury. It appears that due process was overshadowed by prejudice, leaving his verdict clouded with doubt.
Now, we have substantial evidence, as outlined in 198 pages prepared for Judge Jones, detailing the judicial corruption and missteps that plagued this case. This new motion for oral argument aims to shed light on these injustices, seeking a retrial and a fair chance for Randolph's defense to clear his name.
Thomas has been suffering under an unjust verdict due to these compounding errors and it’s time to rectify this. The law must serve the people indiscriminately and uphold the right to a fair trial without exception. We cannot stand by and watch an innocent man’s life be swallowed by a system that has failed him.
Please join me in calling for a comprehensive investigation and a fair retrial for Thomas Randolph. Justice delayed should not be justice denied. Sign this petition to demand action, to demand justice, and to demand dignity for an American whose rights must be preserved!
