Hidden-camera footage shows farm workers brutally separating a newborn calf from her mother, causing both to cry out in distress. It doesn’t stop there. The same investigation reveals calves with bleeding navels left untreated, cows hit and kicked while stuck in stalls, and animals forced to live among filth and infection.

This isn’t just wrong — it’s illegal. New York’s animal cruelty laws prohibit neglect and abuse, and it’s time to enforce them.

We call on New York Attorney General Letitia James and the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Department to launch an immediate investigation into the farm’s practices and pursue criminal charges where appropriate. The suffering of these animals must not go unpunished, and this facility should be shut down if violations are confirmed.
