Investigate the killing of Elizabeth Ann Anton

The Issue

On September 7th 2003, my best friend, Elizabeth Ann Anton, was pushed off a balcony in Arlington, Virginia after her hostess shift at Cafe Milano in Georgetown, DC. She was only 20 years old.

Elizabeth Anton is a well known and well respected member of the McLean, Virginia community. She was 2 years from graduating college. Everyone knew her as the most popular girl at McLean High School. Now, she has been completely forgotten.

Liz's suspected killer, Pierre Chacra, admitted to police he brought Liz to his home with a group of people 20 minutes before her death. Pierre, who was Assistant Manager of Cafe Milano of Georgetown DC at the time, pled the 5th amendment through the entire police and civil proceedings. He obviously had something to hide. Court records indicate that there is a strong possibility Pierre gave Liz large quantities of alcohol and possibly narcotics having knowledge that Liz was only 20. After all, he most likely hired her. But Chacra, still hasn’t been charged with murdering Liz Anton.

When Chacra dialed 911 he stated that Liz fell off of his balcony. There are court records that indicate a civil judgment was partly awarded in the matter against Cafe Milano yet no criminal investigation has been conducted. A witness by the name of Adam Brunelle is also cited in civil court documents. No Autopsy was ever presented in the civil trial.

It is shocking that something like this was never investigated. It has been almost 10 years since her death and the Arlington Police Department, DC Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have ignored her existence.

Liz taught me love can conquer anything. Please join us in calling on Kenneth T. Cuccinelli, II Attorney General of Virginia, to investigate Pierre Chacra’s role in pushing Elizabeth Anton 8 stories to her death at his apartment in Arlington.
