Ms Brown died while in police custody after she was arrested for refusing to leave the St. Mary's Health Center. She visited and complained of pain in her legs and she refused to leave because of the pain. The hospital called the police on her and wheeled her out in a wheel chair after deeming her fit to go to jail. She was in so much pain that the police had to carry into the police station. She was put into a cell where she died. The police department are stating that she was treated properly. I think further action needs to take place. The fact that she could not walk she have indicated that further tests should have been done. Perhaps she would have been saved if they had been.
