Investigate corruption in America's CPS

The Issue

Child Protective Services (CPS) in America, an agency tasked with safeguarding children, is plagued by allegations of corruption and inefficiency. It is devastating to know that an organization designed to protect is not only failing its duty but is potentially involved in harming the very children it is meant to protect. Shockingly, there are claims suggesting that CPS might be operating as one of the largest human trafficking networks in the world.

Recent investigations and personal accounts highlight numerous flaws within CPS, from financial incentives tied to the child foster care system to unwarranted removals of children from their homes. For instance, the federal government provides financial aid to states based on the number of children placed in foster care, which inadvertently creates a system where states are incentivized to remove more children to receive more funding. This raises the question: Is CPS serving the best interest of children, or is it serving financial interests?

Furthermore, anecdotal evidence from families across the nation illustrates a terrifying reality—children taken from homes not due to abuse or neglect, but administrative errors or minor infractions blown out of proportion. Parents are often left powerless, their families torn apart, with little to no recourse in a complex legal system.

These systemic issues within CPS not only damage families permanently but may also contribute to a larger, more sinister problem—human trafficking. With limited oversight and accountability, the lack of transparency in CPS operations provides fertile ground for exploitation and misconduct.

We demand immediate investigation and reform of the CPS system. We call upon the Department of Health and Human Services and other relevant agencies to conduct a thorough review of CPS practices, ensure accountability, increase transparency, and protect the rights and welfare of children and families.

Please sign this petition to support urgent and necessary changes in a deeply troubled system. Every signature brings us closer to ensuring our children are genuinely safe and secure.
