This unfathomable loss has left families and communities across the nation in mourning and contemplating the gaps in our legal system that allowed this to happen.

Shannann's Law would aim to enhance protective measures for those at risk of domestic violence by reforming restraining order regulations and ensuring swift actions by law enforcement. Bella's Law could focus on providing enhanced counseling services for children who have witnessed or experienced violence. Celeste's Law might ensure that victims of familial violence receive comprehensive support. Lastly, Nico's Law could be dedicated to the memory of unborn children lost to violence, ensuring justice through stringent penalties.

Statistics demonstrate that one in four women and one in seven men will experience severe physical violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime (according to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence). The time for change is now.
