Introduce pram parking at Bunnings

Introduce pram parking at Bunnings
The issue
Pram parking spaces are usually offered by private or retail car park operators as a courtesy to parents who require extra space to make it easier to get their children in and out of car seats and manage their prams easily. They’re located close to entrances to help parents safely move children through high traffic areas.
Whilst Bunnings do generally provide specific parking for disability, motorbikes, bicycles, trade and trailers, they do not usually provide pram parking for families and carers of young children. The car parks are often extremely busy and frequented by large vehicles, including utes and trucks with poor vision of small children. This can make transporting young children through the busy car park a dangerous and daunting task for parents and carers. It also makes it difficult to transport purchased items to your family car, whilst juggling young children and a pram.
Pram parks are readily available at almost all small and large shopping centres and large retail chains in Australia. The introduction of young children to a family often brings with it the need for many home and outdoor additions or modifications requiring hardware. So I ask, why do Bunnings feel that pram parks are not required or useful for their shoppers? Are they of the prejudiced opinion that shopping at Bunnings is a job for fathers only when it comes to family hardware shopping?
Please sign this petition to introduce pram parking at Bunnings to be inclusive of families and carers of young children.
