The issue

Sometimes, when the bell rings for lunch at Donvale Christian College, I eagerly rush to the canteen only to discover that my favorite dim sims have already sold out. With a rumbling stomach and limited options, affordable choices at the canteen become a distant dream. For many students like me, finding a quick, tasty, and budget-friendly meal is essential, especially on those days when time is tight and hunger is real.

Our school canteen plays a crucial role in providing students with the energy they need for learning and participating in various school activities. However, the current offerings don't always meet everyone's needs, particularly when affordable options run out quickly. This is why I'm proposing a simple yet effective solution: introducing instant noodles to the canteen menu. Instant noodles are not only inexpensive but also incredibly convenient and satisfying. They can be prepared quickly, ensuring that even when the canteen is bustling, students don’t have to compromise on hunger relief.

Adding instant noodles to the menu would also diversify meal choices, catering to diverse taste preferences and dietary requirements. Moreover, this addition could alleviate pressure during busy periods, ensuring more students leave the canteen with full and happy stomachs. Other schools have successfully integrated instant noodles as a staple canteen item, demonstrating that this can be a viable option here at Donvale.

By signing this petition, you can help convince the administration that a small change like this can make a big difference. Let's make our canteen a place where students can always find an affordable meal. Please sign this petition to bring instant noodles to Donvale Christian College's canteen and support a more inclusive and accessible lunch menu for everyone.
