Introduce Family tax allowance

Introduce Family tax allowance
The Issue
Under Marriage allowance, lower earners can transfer £1,260 of their Personal allowance to their higher-earning spouse or civil partner. If one partner is earning below £12,570.
I believe the government should introduce a Family tax allowance. Where the higher earner in a couple with children living under the same roof. Should be able to transfer up to 50% of their salary to their partner.
Example
Parent 1earns £0
Partner 2 earns £25,140
Partner 2 transfers £12,570 to their partner.
Both earn £12,570 each which is the personal allowance. Saving the family paying 20% tax on £12,570.
Saving the family £2,514 tax.
Example 2
Parent 1 Earns £20,000, pays 20% tax on £5,740
Parent 2 earns £60,000, pays 20% tax on £37,701, 40% tax £9,729.
By transferring £10,000 to their partner they drop their salary below £50,271. So only 20% tax is paid on the £9,729 not 40%. Saving the family £1,945.80 over the year.
This will help drag family’s out of financial hardship and children out of child poverty, while reducing the benefits burden on the government. While making the system fairer, by making a family where 1 person earns £60,000 and the other £0. No worse off than a family where both parents earn £30,000. This will making working people better off working than being on benefits.
