Yesterday Donna Davis MP celebrated the Sydney Olympic Park Master Plan 2050.
In fact, more homes are planned under this Final Master Plan than the draft proposed.
We are over 6 years away (minimum) from seeing any Metro Line to cater for the year on year population increase for the area under the plan.
Donna has done NOTHING about our petition for direct train lines to and from the city during peak periods, other than to accept the Transport Minister's "sorry, no can do". While Donna is keen to get her name out there through social media posts and "pop up" offices, when it comes to achieving real solutions to serious issues, I'm yet to see any meaningful results.
** I'm sure you have all noticed the hundreds of direct train lines put in place for the duration of the Royal Easter Show (go figure, another miracle! The impossible has somehow become possible, yet again!) **
Donna was recently seen with the Transport Minister boasting about these "bendy buses" for Parramatta. I'm sure you all saw the flood of social media posts about it! Yet here we are in Sydney Olympic Park, getting bigger and bigger by the day, but still being neglected by Donna when it comes to "efficient and effective" public transport.
I have been in contact with Kellie Sloane MP who has confirmed that she is yet to announce a Liberal candidate for Parramatta. Once announced, I'll be sending our petition to them seeking they do something that Donna just can't do! Donna does NOT support Sydney Olympic Park and its seamless connection to the city - she's made that quite clear! Actions speak louder than words! I've lost all faith in her and NSW Labor to achieve what is in the best interests here in Sydney Olympic Park and its immediate surrounds.
Donna did not even call me to discuss the response of the Transport Minister - despite the hundreds of you (i.e. Sydney Olympic Park community members) who petitioned her to go in and fight for us. It would appear she didn't put up a fight, whatsoever.
