We respectfully call on Wizz Air to introduce direct flights between Malta and Georgia.

Over the past few years, the Georgian community in Malta has grown significantly. It is estimated that between 3,000 and 5,000 Georgians now live and work in Malta, contributing to key sectors such as hospitality, tourism, construction, and other. Despite this growing community, there are currently no direct flights between Malta and Georgia, forcing travelers to rely on multiple connecting flights that increase travel time and cost.

Benefits of a direct route

Direct flights between Malta and Georgia could serve several groups of travelers:

 • Maltese tourists looking for new and unique travel destinations
 • Georgian tourists interested in visiting Malta
 • Business travelers and seasonal workers moving between the two countries

1. Support for the Georgian community in Malta
Thousands of Georgians living in Malta frequently travel to visit family and relatives. A direct flight would significantly reduce travel time and costs.
