Your Majesty,
I write to you with the deepest respect as a loyal subject of the Crown, seeking your gracious consideration of a matter of great personal and public importance. I am fully aware of the constitutional boundaries that rightly limit the Sovereign’s direct involvement in judicial proceedings, and I seek no interference with the independence of the judiciary. I ask only for the encouragement and endorsement that only your Majesty can provide — a quiet word of support for justice and constitutional principle that would strengthen the hand of those who believe, as I do, that the law must serve the people rather than constrain them.
