I've had enough after seeing a nearly possible fatal accident on SH1 between Waikanae and Paraparaumu this morning involving a logging truck (see below).

Nobody wants to hear about our community's safety concerns from the traffic chaos caused by the closure of Waikanae Bridge, so let's see if we can get our voices heard this way.

Something needs to change, and a speed limit (or at least better warning signage) on SH1 would be a great first step.
