Yuzuru Hanyu, a Japanese figure skater, has been consistently receiving marks lower than he deserves from the International Skating Union (ISU) judges. For the 2020-2021 season, in his two appearances, the first one in Japan Nationals in December 2020, his Sit spin was marked as zero, which many fans disagreed. In World Figure Skating Championships 2021, his score of 106.98 was extremely disappointing as many fans believed he should receive at least 110. Further, the GOE of elements such as jumps and spins has been lower than what he deserves, as evident in the scoring of his Short Program in the World Figure Skating Championships in which Judge 1 graded his jump a zero GOE while many other judges graded him a +4 GOE.  How can the difference be so big between judges? We all know the highest and lowest score will be dropped but that is no excuse for this unexplainable difference.  Further, since this is in relation to ISU competitions, we must also note that his strongest rival from USA, Nathan Chen, has been consistently receiving scores higher than what he deserves.  The audience is not blind!  We can see the performance quality of each skater! Consistently awarding non deserved points to Nathan Chen, but awarding the Most Valuable Skater Award to Yuzuru Hanyu because you know that he is the real best skater and you need him to keep a large fan base for you to make money, is totally disheartening to see.  We ask for Yuzuru Hanyu to receive the marks he deserves, and we ask that you stop awarding non deserved marks to Nathan Chen! Yuzuru Hanyu clearly has the biggest fan vase and thus increasing the sport’s popularity.  All Yuzuru Hanyu Fans are disheartened by this continuous unfair judging. We are for FAIR SCORES IN MEN FIGURE SKATING, especially leading to BEIJING OLYMPICS 2022!!!!!!!!!!!
