Make Sladderdask an Olympic Sport

The Issue

What is Sladderdask?

You probably already know about Sladderdask, even if you haven't heard this name before. Sladderdask are sticky, stretchy hands of different colours. You can most easily find one in your local grocery store, in the dispensers by the entrance. The different Sladderdasks also have elemental powers, such as fire (Flammadask), electricity (Elektrodask) and many more! The sport of Sladderdask usually concists of two people duelling against each other, with slaps and elemental attacks.

Why should Sladderdask be an Olympic sport?

Sladderdask is even more of a sport than any other. A dasker needs both great physique and physical abilities, like strength and flexibility, but complex thinking and tactics are also important aspects in Sladderdask, which requires this of the participants as well.

Do you want to know more about Sladderask?

Then watch this short movie (subtitles are available): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbHwIKPeex8 The film explains the sport and mythology of Sladderdask, and is very entertaining at the same time!

The creators of the film above are also developing a video game based on this concept. You can follow their journey here: https://www.instagram.com/sladderdask/
